How painful is the procedure?


The procedure is little to no pain. Two different types of lidocaine (numbing cream) is used. The first one is applied onto untouched/unbroken skin and left on for 15 minutes. A second lidocaine is applied throughout the procedure to maintain comfort level. 

How long does a procedure take?


Microblading is usually 75 minutes for the initial appointment and 45-60 minutes for the follow up appointment. MicroShading takes approximately 75-90 minutes for the initial appointment, and about 60-70 

  Eyeliner varies on whether the client want both top and bottom eyelids or either top or bottom eyelid. For both eyelids, your first visit is usually 90 minutes and 60 minutes at the follow up appointment. For single eyelid procedures, it’s roughly 45-60 minutes for the initial visit and 30-45 minutes for the follow up appointment. 

How would the shape of an eyebrow be determine?


Measurements of the eyebrow will help place and determine the shape that best fits the client’s face, while width and thickness is the clients preference. 

How long it take to heal?


Both Eyebrows and Eyeliner typically take approximately 10-14 days to be completely healed. However, it takes a full 5-6 weeks for the skin to completely heal from inside out. Therefore, the follow up appointment is designed to be schedule for 6 weeks after the initial visit.

Is there any downtime after the procedure? 


There is little to no downtime for the Eyebrows, as minimal redness and swelling only occurs for some people and usually last for 30 minutes to 2-3 hours max. There is some swelling and puffiness that will usually last 24-32 hours after an Eyeliner procedure is performed. Nothing that will require taking off of school or work.

How soon can I wear Makeup after having a procedure done?


 Makeup can be worn as soon as the eyebrow procedure is performed. However, you should avoid getting products onto the eyebrow for the first 7 days following the procedure. 

  Mascara and eyeshadows are to be avoided for the first 7 days following the Eyeliner procedure. 

How is a color determined for Eyebrow Procedures?  


Generally, I would try to match the pigment color to that of the client’s natural eyebrow hair color so that it looks most natural.
